Job Opportunity: Physician - Gastroenterology in Lawrenceville, GA
Join our dedicated team at a leading gastrointestinal practice located in the heart of Lawrenceville, Georgia. We are seeking two passionate gastroenterologists to provide exceptional care to our patients in a supportive environment. This facility is known for its commitment to excellence in clinical care and innovation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fill 2 GI Hospitalist positions.
- Provide coverage for unassigned GI patients and United Digestive patients.
- Engage in general GI practice.
- Work a 7-on/7-off schedule (22 weeks per year).
- Offer consultative inpatient services from 7:30 AM to 5 PM.
- Collaborate with 2 inpatient APPs covering seven days a week.
- Night call responsibilities covered by existing United Digestive physicians.
- Assure Hospitalist coverage during non-occupied weeks will be managed by current physicians.
- New graduates through 2025 are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Active Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- DEA certification required prior to start date.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (REQUIRED).
- Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED).
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start, no exemptions) (REQUIRED).
- Visa support status to be noted (REQUIRED).
