RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours required every other weekend as needed by facility
• No call requirements
• May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs
• Patient ratio 1:6-7 (ratios not guaranteed)
• Required: Current RN License (eligible for Missouri licensure), BLS from AHA, 1 year Med Surg inpatient experience
• Preferred: ACLS from AHA
• Dress code: Black scrubs only, no leggings permitted
• Work with 30-bed unit caring for GI, GU, wound care, acute withdrawal, altered mental status, dialysis/ESRD, and minor surgical patients
• Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo enteral feeding pumps, wound vacs, SCD machines, PCA pumps, low air loss mattresses, remote telemetry monitors
• EMR system: EPIC
• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for all age groups
• Must be patient-focused team player
• Position involves significant standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting with assistance
• High risk exposure to blood and body fluids
