Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Night Shift Labor & Delivery RN with an active IL RN license and AHA certifications to work in a busy unit with Level III NICU support.

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy Labor & Delivery unit with OB ED and antepartum services
• Level III NICU on site for advanced neonatal care
• Night shift position: 19:00-07:30
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• 13-week contract assignment
• Provide nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns in a high-volume L&D setting
• Support available from a multidisciplinary team including NICU professionals
• Expected to cover every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations
• COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Local candidates are accepted but will receive a reduced rate based on established facility radius rules

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics required
• Nursys verification and license verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
