RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in a 20-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU) with 4:1 patient ratios
• Schedule requirements include every other weekend, holiday availability, and 2 Mondays/2 Fridays per schedule
• Shift starts promptly at 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM - tardiness is not tolerated
• Mandatory attendance at shift huddle and bedside shift report (including patient in conversation)
• Float to other step-down units (4:1 ratio) or medical-surgical units (6:1 ratio) as needed
• Work with cardiac drips including Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Milrinone, and Nitroglycerin
• Care for post-catheterization patients without intervention
• Manage patients requiring BIPAP/CPAP/High Flow oxygen therapy
• Handle chest tube management and sepsis care
• Occasionally assist with bedside cardioversion procedures with Cath Lab staff support
• Use documentation system: Expanse
• Work with equipment including ZOLL monitors, Baxter pumps, GE telemetry monitors, Hillrom beds, and kangaroo pumps
• ACLS certification required
• Must have step-down and cardiac drip experience
• Dress code: All navy blue or all white scrubs with closed-toed shoes (no Crocs), HCA/Hospital branded t-shirts permitted
