Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN with a TX or compact license, ACLS/BLS certification, and recent Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• Works in the hospital Cath Lab setting
• Shifts are 4x10 hours, with start and end times flexible based on scheduled cases, generally between 8am and 7pm
• Call is required: weeknights 7pm-7am and weekends 7am-7pm
• Will be required to work 2 out of 3 holidays if needed
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• RNs average 4-6 hours of mandatory modules onsite during orientation
• Only individual travelers accepted; travel pairs or groups not permitted
• No more than 3 days of time off will be approved, and no time off is permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Current TX or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of recent Cath Lab nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Recent experience with Epic EMR within the last 6 months is required
• Travel experience is preferred
• Former perm staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
