The Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator provides perioperative nursing care by assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient needs during surgery. The role includes delegating tasks to other nursing staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and participating in on-call rotations for surgical support. Candidates must hold a current nursing license, BCLS certification, and preferably have operating room experience, working approximately 16 hours per month.
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
This position requires the ability to work the following:
- 16 hours per month
- On call rotation of every 4th weekend 1-2 days per month during the week once trained
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Pervious OR experience preferred
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
