An Anesthesiology Physician provides anesthesia care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures including general, cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, neurological, obstetric, pediatric, regional, and thoracic surgeries. This role requires board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, an active medical license in California, and the ability to respond promptly to call within 20 minutes. The physician works at a Level 3 Trauma facility using the Epic EMR system, managing a daily census of 2-5 patients.
