Are you passionate about improving lives through hearing health? MultiCare Yakima is seeking a dedicated full-time Audiologist to provide expert care in a busy clinical environment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll perform comprehensive hearing evaluations, interpret results for patients and physicians, recommend appropriate treatment options, and conduct hearing aid evaluations and fittings. Required Skills:
- Active Washington State audiology license or Interim Process License (IMLC)
- Successful completion of a Master s or Doctorate degree in Audiology, including clinical practicum experience
- Certification of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) for Master s degrees, or AuD from an accredited institution
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in performing pure tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry, impedance audiometry
- Ability to interpret audiological test results accurately and communicate findings effectively to patients and healthcare providers
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with advanced audiological equipment and diagnostic tools
- Bilingual abilities or experience working with diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of ear protection devices and related patient education
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Prior clinical experience in a healthcare or outpatient setting equivalent to at least one year
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am 5pm
- Ability to travel between clinics if necessary
- Maintaining licensure and certification requirements, including ongoing professional development
Compensation for this role is competitive at $1.00 per hour.
