We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to provide full-spectrum outpatient care for patients of all ages in the picturesque community of Lake Tahoe, California.
This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a Certified Rural Health Clinic (RHC), ensuring a diverse patient experience. You will be working with a supportive team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and must be comfortable with supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide outpatient primary care across all age groups
- See 16-20 patients per day to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Work within a team-based care model
- Participate in value-based care initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
- No after-hours call
- Option to precept students/residents (if desired)
Position Highlights:- 100% outpatient role with no inpatient responsibilities
- 4-day workweek (1.0 FTE)

Qualifications:- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Comfort with supervision and managing diverse patient populations
- Experience with Medi-Cal, uninsured, and underserved populations preferred
- Commitment to rural primary care and team-based medicine.
