Emergency Medicine Physicians Needed - Locums Opportunity
We are seeking two dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) to join a high functioning team in a community-based emergency department with an annual volume of 14,000. This locum opportunity is ideal for board-certified or board-eligible physicians in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine who have recent experience in comparable emergency settings.
Position Highlights:
- Shift Structure: 12-hour shifts (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am)
- Schedule: Must be available to work days, nights, and weekends
- Coverage model: 24-hour MD/DO coverage with no mid-level support
- ICU Status: No Open ICU
- EMR System: Cerner
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in EM, IM or FM
- Must have recent Emergency Medicine experience (past 2 years in similar volume setting)
- Current AHA, ACLS & PALS certifications
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or willing to complete an exemptions form (status required upon submission)
