Grain Handling Operator

A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Drive grain transport vehicles and haul materials between the warehouse and the plant
- Load, unload, and dump inbound and outbound trucks
- Transfer popcorn and maintain hauling and bin equipment
- Assist processing operators with daily production activities
- Perform light maintenance duties as needed
- Conduct quality tests on grain
- Clean grain and trash bins and level storage bins
- Support fumigation of storage bins when required
- Maintain good housekeeping and good manufacturing practices
- Follow all food safety and quality requirements
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with grain elevators and or grain processing
- 1+ year supporting food safety and quality standards
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
Physical Requirements
- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
- Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
- Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials up to 100 lbs.
- Working at heights up to 100 feet in the air.
