RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Adult Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation
• No guarantee of hours
• Float between various medical and surgical units including Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)
• 2-10 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)
• Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment
• Work with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
• Nurse to patient ratios: Medical 1:6 for days and evenings, 1:8 for nights; Laulima 1:6; Cardiovascular 1:4 (ratios may vary due to unexpected leaves)
• Professional nursing attire required - clean scrubs
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
• Unit-specific training and orientation program provided
