This locum tenens position is for a board-certified or board-eligible cardiovascular surgeon specializing in adult inpatient care, performing procedures such as open cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, coronary artery bypass, and vascular bypasses. The role involves weekend call coverage with a 20-30 minute response time at a Level II trauma hospital in Lubbock, TX. The physician will work in a team environment with two other physicians, mid-level providers, and support staff, using Epic EMR and requiring active Texas licensure and hospital privileges.
