Locum Urgent Care NP needed in Parker, AZ
Hospital is opening a new urgent care, and have 2 perm NP's but one is leaving at end of AUG.
Brand new urgent care. Located in Parker, AZ which is a small town but a tourist town for water-based recreational activities on the Colorado River and Lake Havasu(38 miles away).
Hospital based Urgent Care

Credentialing: 3-4 weeks
Start: Sept 4, 2025
End: Dec 31, 2025
Work Schedule: Flexible between 7 on/off; 2 on/off or 5 on/off. - 12/hr shifts
Patient Volume: 15min follow up patients appts; 20-30min for new patient appts. Patients are all ages.
Procedures: Able to perform minor office surgeries, apply casts and splints, suture lacerations.
EMR: Cerner
License: AZ active license
Certifications: DEA, BLS, Board-Certified
Relevant Exp/Skill Set: N eeding an NP with experience working in an urgent care, and rural setting. They need someone experienced, because provider is working opposite schedule of perm NP, so they will be operating solo.
Additional Information: Practitioner is expected to see patients scheduled approximately every 15 minutes; new patients every 20-30 minutes and be able to adapt to changes in the schedule as needed for patient care. It may also be necessary for the Practitioner to make additions to the schedule for Urgent Care type patients. Time will be set aside at the end of the day to follow up on consults, ordered lab, and refill requests, etc.
