Position: Cardiac Surgery RN – Pre-Surgical Visit Nurse Location: Seattle, WA Shift: Day shift: 5×8 hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) Monday–Friday No nights, no weekends, no call Contract: 13-week Temp-to-Hire (expected to convert to permanent if offered) Start Date: ASAP Requirements: Active WA RN license required at submission (no pending licenses) Minimum 1 year RN experience (cardiac clinic or inpatient preferred) BLS required EPIC experience required Reliable transportation required Local and travel candidates accepted (non-locals must agree to commute or relocate) Role Details: Pre-surgical patient education and coordination Interpret labs, perform 12-lead EKGs, MRSA swabs, and discharge planning Frequent communication with surgeons and schedulers Patient population includes CAD, valve disease, AFib, HFrEF, HCM Facility: Outpatient Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic Charting: EPIC
