Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN with a CA license and at least 2 years of experience for a night shift position with self-scheduling and floating requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Oncology unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts (1900-0730)
• Self-scheduling is utilized
• Floats required to Med/Surg, Med/Tele, ED, and Postpartum units
• EPIC documentation system is used
• Four weekend shifts required per four-week period
• No on-call responsibilities
• First-time travelers are accepted for consideration
• Time off requests must be pre-approved and included at the time of application
• Local candidates are accepted at the local rate if residing within 50 miles
• Required to float to Med/Surg, Med/Tele, ED, and Postpartum as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
