Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active IA or compact RN license and strong vascular IR lab experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Interventional Radiology lab within a hospital setting
- Four 9-hour day shifts per week with start times at 7:00 or 7:30 am
- On-call required 6 to 9 days per contract, including every fourth weekend
- Holiday rotation required with expectation to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays
- Patient population includes those requiring endovascular and vascular interventional procedures
- Uses Epic EMR with Epic experience required
- Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide and manage patient care in the IR lab
- Must participate in call schedule, including weekend call as assigned
- Required to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
- Travelers may only request one day off between 11/26–11/30 and 12/23–1/2
- Locals within 50 miles are accepted
- Previous employment with the client within the past 12 months may affect eligibility
Requirements
- Active IA or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of current vascular/interventional radiology lab experience
- Proficiency in endovascular/vascular interventional procedures
- Experience with Epic EMR is required
- One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years is required
