Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position covering nights on multiple medical units, requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in multiple hospital units including medical, neurology/telemetry, oncology, and observation units
- Care for a diverse adult patient population across medical, neuro/tele, oncology, and observation settings
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
- 13-week contract assignment
- Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Blocked scheduling may be allowed depending on facility needs
- Local candidates within 50 miles are subject to specific contract limits and pay adjustments
- After three consecutive local contracts, a one-year break or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience in the relevant specialty required
- Certifications must be current with none expiring within the first 30 days of assignment without renewal documentation
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number is required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
