As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves supporting a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors while responding to situations as needed. This is an armed post, ideal for professionals dedicated to customer service and upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare location to help to deter potential threats and maintain a secure environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately in daily reports and logs.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related emergencies or requests for assistance from staff, patients, or visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
