American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification for a night shift hospital role requiring flexibility across all radiology departments.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based fixed unit with some assignments in ambulatory mobile units
- Must be able to rotate through all radiology departments as needed
- Night shift schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, rotating every other weekend
- May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
- Utilizes PACS for imaging management and RIS for study indexing
- Perform computerized tomographic imaging procedures and occasionally general diagnostic radiology exams
- Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor for patient reactions
- Assist radiologists during complex diagnostic procedures such as biopsies
- Responsible for maintaining radiation safety standards, equipment setup, and supply management
- Must consistently demonstrate strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
- No blocked scheduling available
- Reliable completion of all required background checks and screenings prior to assignment
- Dress code and scrubs adherence as per hospital policy
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and advanced registry in CT or registry-eligible
- Active MI license required if applicable
- BLS certification from AHA required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must complete hospital online training modules and pass associated assessments prior to start
- Physically able to lift and/or move equipment and patients over 10 lbs
