The position does not require attendance at deliveries or newborn resuscitations as the facility maintains in-house neonatologists and Level 3 NICU support. Board certification in pediatrics is required along with active North Carolina license and DEA. The role involves working with nursing staff to provide quality newborn hospitalist services using Cerner EMR documentation.
