- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning
- Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel
- Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies and procedures
- Communicate changes in patient status to care team members to ensure continuity of care
- Contribute positively to team building and a supportive healthcare work environment
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested after orientation
- Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education
