The position is for a Chief of Radiology faculty member in Maryland, responsible for leading the Radiology Department and providing both diagnostic and interventional radiology services. The role involves overseeing procedures such as biopsies and embolizations across multiple hospitals, with a focus on IR and DR services, and includes leadership responsibilities. Seeking a Chief of Radiology faculty member for the Department of Radiology. The Department offers a full spectrum of specialized services utilizing the most up-to-date techniques such as AI-enabled diagnosis as well as state-of-the-art imaging equipment. Key service lines supported include Emergency Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Vascular Surgery, Neurology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, General Surgery, Critical Care, and others. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with providing both diagnostic and interventional services and will have at least some prior leadership experience. 80% IR / 20% DR with no clinic required. Procedures include biopsies, drainages, venous access, embolization, nephrostomy. IR call is 1 week in 5, covering three hospitals (light volume) Competitive base salary and RVU bonus Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) 403(b) retirement plan and 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan $5k CME allowance 10 weeks vacation Professional society membership dues coverage PSLF Applicable Malpractice with tail coverage $450-650K and Chief stipend. Additional bonus dollars are available at $55/wRVU for those able to consistently produce more than 40 RVUs per shift in a high-quality fashion.Required: Current ABR/AOBR certification, residency training, MD license and DEAPreferred: Subspecialty training and CAQ in Interventional Radiology, Prior leadership experience, MBA or equivalent business experience
