We are actively recruiting a skilled professional to meet the growing demand for gastroenterology near ARGOS, IN. Join an established and busy practice comprising five experienced physicians and multiple advanced practice providers. Job Overview: Clinical Expertise: The ideal candidate will bring ERCP experience, an interest in Hepatology, and a strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Collaborative Engagement: Display exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering strong ties with the community, and building lasting relationships with patients. Collaborate closely with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. What You Can Expect: Office Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m., offering a balanced work routine. Physician Schedule: 3 - 4 half days in clinic. 3 - 4 half days in surgery. 1 full day off for personal time. Physician Call Schedule: 1:5, with one full week call (Friday 8:00 a.m. Friday 8:00 a.m.). No clinic during the call week; focus on hospital procedures and front-line call coverage. Average Patient Volumes: Half Day Clinic: 12 15 patients. Half Day Surgery: 8 10 patients. Practice Support: Shared resources including 3 RN s. Dedicated MA support for every physician. In-house surgery schedulers (2). Outreach Commitment: Clinics in LaPorte, Chesterton, Valparaiso, all within a 30-minute commute. Virtual Visits: Potential for incorporating virtual visits into the practice. Collaborative Environment: Shared collaboration between physicians for advanced practice providers in the group. Hospital-based Nurse Practitioner handling new consults and rounding ahead of physicians. Clinic-based Nurse Practitioner. Mentorship Opportunities: Benefit from strong mentorship provided by senior physician leadership. Referral Base: A robust referral base, averaging 75 - 100 per week for general GI services. In-Network Oncology Services: Offering a full spectrum of wrap-around services. Onsite Equipment: BRAVO, Pill Cam, Fibroscan. HD Motility and EndoFlip located at the Surgicenter. Advanced endoscopist in the group offering EUS and a wide range of pancreaticobiliary interventions.
