Title: Clinical Research Physician (Gastroenterologist)
Location: Chandler, AZ (On-site)
Schedule:Part-Time Only 8 hours/week
Start Date: Flexible (within 0 6 months)
Compensation:
$100 $250/hour (based on experience and specialty)
Internists: Max $150/hour
About the Role:
As a Clinical Research Physician (Gastroenterologist), you will serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) on Phase I IV clinical trials focusing on gastroenterology and related therapeutic areas. You will ensure patient safety, protocol compliance, and collaborate closely with sponsors, CROs, and research teams.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct medical screenings, gastrointestinal assessments, and patient monitoring
Provide clinical oversight aligned with GCP and FDA regulations
Collaborate with research coordinators, nurses, and study staff
Participate in site visits, audits, and monitoring visits
Document patient interactions and adverse events in EHR/EDC systems
Assist with study feasibility, design input, and recruitment strategies
M.D. or D.O. with an active, unrestricted Arizona medical license
Board-certified Gastroenterologist
Valid DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification
Clinical research experience preferred (training available)
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Commitment to ethical and patient-centered research
