A hospital-affiliated multi-specialty group in Lompoc, California is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a permanent position with a competitive compensation package including a base salary, productivity bonuses, and benefits. The role involves performing over 200 GI procedures monthly in a dedicated endoscopy facility with a Monday-Friday schedule and light call. Enterprise Medical is assisting in recruiting a Gastroenterologist for a hospital-affiliated multi-specialty group in Lompoc, California.
About the Opportunity:
- Join a hospital-based multi-specialty group with 41 physicians and 15 APPs
- 10 days of call per month - light volume
- Dedicated GI suite and endoscopy facility
- Equipped for ERCP (EUS not available)
- Currently performing over 200 procedures per month on dedicated two- and one-half procedure days
- Monday-Friday schedule with one afternoon typically used for admin
- The hospital is highly experienced with setting up physicians on S-Corp models
- Credentialing: 60-90 days (CA license is the biggest delay)
- Supportive environment with GI techs and a trained MA assigned to each provider
Compensation Package:
- Greater of base salary of $562K OR productivity ($75 per wRVU )
- $25K sign-on bonus and relocation allowance provided
- Paid malpractice and health insurance for individuals and families
- 1099 Independent Contractor arrangement
- 30 days of compensated time off annually
- $5,000 CME stipend
