The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs advanced imaging and post-processing for interventional radiology procedures, including assisting during operations and managing specialized equipment. They must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, hold ARRT certification, and obtain vascular-interventional radiography certification within 24 months of hire. One year of clinical experience is preferred, and licensure in the State of Vermont is required.
Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist I is one who is working in an advanced modality. They are responsible for imaging and post processing the images for Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures. They circulate during procedures; scrub, if needed, and possess in depth knowledge of IR inventory and equipment.
Education:
Graduate from an accredited program of Radiologic Technology. ARRT is required. Must be licensed in the State of Vermont. Individual must accumulate 200 exams as outlined by the ARRT and become licensed in the modality, by passing the Vascular-Interventional (VI) Radiography certification exam, within 24 months of hire.
This position requires verification of college transcripts. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview.
Experience:
One year of clinical experience, preferred.
