Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift Med/Surg position with strong ortho/surgical skills and a GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on the 5B ortho/surgical unit
• Provide care for orthopedic and general surgical patients
• 12-hour night shifts, three shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Responsible for comprehensive care of ortho and surgical patients on the designated unit
• Must submit an up-to-date resume and supporting documentation for consideration
• Not accepting requests for time off during the assignment
• Night shift position with a supportive team environment

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience, including orthopedic and surgical cases
• BLS certification required
• Two professional references from supervisors or managers from similar experience within the last two years
• Skills checklist relevant to Med/Surg specialty
• Work history must show no gaps greater than 60 days
• Resume must include facility names, units, and dates of employment
• Verification of active nursing license required
