Key Details: Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: General Surgery Start Date: January 1, 2025 End Date: March 31, 2025 Coverage Type: Call Only Practice Setting: Inpatient Average Patients per Shift: 15+ Responsibilities: Provide on-call coverage for emergency services and surgical procedures. Perform a variety of general surgical procedures, including but not limited to: Appendectomies Cholecystectomies Hernioplasties Laparoscopic surgeries Breast surgeries Gastrointestinal endoscopies Vascular procedures Complete post-operative consultations during your shift. Requirements: Board Certification: Required; must be board-eligible or certified in general surgery. Licensure: Must hold an active medical license in Oregon. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; other certifications preferred but not mandatory. Experience: Acute care surgery experience preferred. Schedule: Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM) On-call Requirements: Providers will be on call for the emergency department.
