About American Fork HospitalAmerican Fork Hospital is a nationally recognized community hospital committed to meeting the healthcare needs of the rapidly growing population in North Utah County. We offer state-of-the-art technology, 90 beds, and a medical staff of more than 300 doctors representing 30 specialties. Our services include a fully equipped emergency department and a wide range of quality inpatient and outpatient care.
Position Details- Department Location: American Fork Hospital
- Shift Details: Full-time 40 hours/week
- Pay: $35.25 – $54.39/hour (dependent upon experience)
- Ensure proper patient identification, verify orders, and prepare patients for exams
- Perform exams per department protocol
- Demonstrate competency in cross-sectional anatomy and positioning
- Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety protocols
- Critique own films and complete studies within department time standards
- Administer oral barium or IV contrast under physician supervision
- Practice infection control and sterile techniques
- Provide patient education and ensure comfort
- Operate CT equipment and related systems to produce quality images
- ARRT Radiography Certification/Registration
- Relevant state licensure (where required)
- Demonstrated CT proficiency
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARRT CT Certification/Registration
- 1+ year(s) CT experience
