Job Description & Requirements
Interventional Cardiology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $315.25 - $341.25

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 8:00 AM (weekend non-invasive rounding, preferably non-invasive and STEMI coverage)

Potentially Thursday 8:00 AM - Monday 8:00 AM if possible

Call responsibilities include non-invasive rounding (required), STEMI coverage (preferred), cardiac service reading/results, and stress testing supervision.

Practice Setting: Inpatient

Type of cases and required procedures: Non-invasive rounding, Reading cardiac-related imaging and testing

Supervising stress testing ordered during the weekend

If interventional: perform any needed acute procedures during weekend shift

Credentialing timeframe: 60 days

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

Certifications required: Must have Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Licensure required: Must have active Indiana Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA) or easily transferable, Active Indiana medical license
