Duration13 Weeks (Contract Assignment)
ShiftNight Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Monday through Thursday
No Fridays, weekends, or holidays
No on-call
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide pre- and post-operative nursing care in a 23-hour surgical observation unit
Monitor post-surgical patients, perform assessments, and respond to changes in condition
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per provider orders and protocols
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, OR nurses, and PACU staff in a fast-paced setting
Float within scope of practice to other observation units or shifts as needed based on census
Required QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
Active South Carolina RN license or Compact/Multi-State RN license
Ability to work night shifts in a surgical short stay/observation environment
Current CertificationsPreferred QualificationsExperience in PACU, observation, short stay, or surgical services nursing
Experience caring for orthopedic, interventional radiology, or GI procedure patients
Previous travel nursing experience
