Opportunity:

Job Details:
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Maintain patient ratios of 5-6 patients
• Daily census of 35 patients across 38 beds
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Saturday/Sunday)
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Must have 2+ years of nursing experience
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Altera charting system experience preferred but not required
• Must live at least 150 miles from facility location
• Skills required include telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, and wound care
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Must complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Non-billable modules averaging 6-8 hours completed during orientation
• Hard document submission deadline: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date
• Previous permanent staff must be gone 1 year before returning as traveler
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
