Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a current CA license for a flexible Med Surg and Emergency Room night shift assignment requiring multiple certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital setting with coverage required for both Med/Surg and Emergency Room units depending on departmental needs
- Patient populations include adult Med-Surg, Med-Surg Ortho, Med-Surg Peds, and emergency cases
- Night shift assignment
- 13-week contract
- Quick start assignment
- Must be willing and able to work flexibly between Med/Surg and ER units as needed
- Required to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs while on duty
- Annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Training with certificate of completion is mandatory
- Teamwork, confidentiality, accountability, and respect are essential values for this role
- Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction indicated
Requirements
- Active and current CA RN license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience as an Emergency Room Nurse
- Current ACLS, BLS (or BCLS), and PALS certifications required
- TNCC certification required within one year of hire
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels
