Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Sacramento, CA. The MRI Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process
- Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging results
- Monitor patients during scans to ensure safety and comfort
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment effectively
- Review images for quality and accuracy before submission
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation
- Adhere to safety standards, including MRI safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent
- Active state license (California, if required)
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience
- BLS certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
