Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Response in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your role includes responding to situations as needed and delivering outstanding customer service, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches of policy.
- Communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors to provide assistance and relay important information as needed.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as required during emergencies or critical events.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any potential hazards or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
