Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with at least 2 years of Pre/Post Op experience for a hospital-based position requiring a MI RN license and ACLS/BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Pre/Post Op department of a hospital
• Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Role focuses on care of patients before and after surgery
• Involves preparing patients for surgery and monitoring them post-operatively
• Supports patient recovery and coordinates care with the surgical team
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• One professional reference is required for consideration

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of Pre/Post Op nursing experience required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• No current employment with or employment within the last 12 months at the associated health system
