They book overlapping 8-9 hour shifts. The ED has up to quadruple coverage each day, plus a staffed fast track area, to manage 50,000 annual ER visits. You will have a mix of days and evenings: Each month you will work 1-2 overnights plus 4 weekend days. Specialty backup includes 24/7 hospitalists. You will be impressed by the highly trained emergency nursing and support staff.This is a hospital employed position. You will earn a salary starting at $300,000+ based on experience.
