American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with strong structural heart and EP experience, including TAVR expertise and required certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab across 3 procedure rooms with rotation to an additional OR or fourth lab as needed
- Patient population includes complex coronary, electrophysiology, and structural heart cases
- Perform and assist with procedures such as TAVR, PFO/ASD closure, Watchman devices, coronary cases, and device implants
- Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with every 3rd weekend call required
- Expect to support 10–12 coronary and 5–8 EP cases daily
- EPIC EMR is used; candidates with other EMR experience will receive EPIC training
- Local candidates are eligible at the same rate as travelers
- Primary responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring complex cases, including support in the OR as needed
- Call coverage includes every 3rd weekend with participation in Saturday elective cases
- Highly experienced and supportive team with a family-oriented culture and strong mentorship from cardiologists
- Opportunities for advanced training in complex cardiac procedures and strong potential for contract extension or conversion to permanent roles
- Scrubs are provided
- First-time travelers meeting experience requirements will be considered
- Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience with scrubbing and monitoring responsibilities
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Certification as ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS accepted; license required if applicable
- Strong experience with structural heart procedures and EP studies is required
- Demonstrated TAVR competency
- Ability to scrub, circulate, and monitor in Cath Lab and EP Lab environments
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
