- Other details: The facility is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. The role requires candidates willing to cover a mix of 8-, 10-, 12-, and 16-hour shifts, with the site operating seven days a week; Saturdays run from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with standby call afterward, and Sundays are standby call only, with call distribution shared equally among the anesthetist team. The locum will work alongside five full-time anesthesiologists and multiple CRNAs, providing full-time coverage with an average of 2 10 cases per day, typically receiving about one call per call shift, and caring for adult patients ages within a short-term acute care environment featuring 12 operating rooms including cath labs. The setting uses Cerner for general charting and paper for anesthesia documentation, with required skills covering orthopedics, general surgery (including robotic/minimally invasive), neurosurgery, GI endoscopy, and electrophysiology and structural cardiology. Candidates must be board-certified, hold CAA certification along with ACLS and BLS, and do not need a DEA license; new graduates will be considered.
