Required Licensure & Certifications- Active New York Single-State RN License
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)
Schedule & Requirements- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Charting System: EPIC (required)
- Floating: Required within scope of competency
- Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white
Required Clinical Skills- Arterial line management, central line and PICC care, blood product administration
- Ventilator management, HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP support, ABG interpretation
- Assist with chest tube insertion/removal and care of ventilated patients
- Continuous IV sedation and paralytics; administration and monitoring of procedural sedation
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips; emergency medication management
- Cardiac surgery and device experience including CABG, Impella, IABP, LVAD/RVAD
- Swan-Ganz catheter monitoring and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- CVVHD/CRRT management
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management; 12-lead EKG acquisition
- Infection prevention, PPE use, wound vac care
- Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure
