The Restaurant General Manager oversees daily operations to meet financial and service goals while leading both front-of-house and back-of-house teams. They partner with the Executive Chef to manage inventory, forecasting, and waste control, while also driving marketing and community engagement efforts. The role requires strong financial management skills, team leadership experience, and familiarity with the local hospitality market.

Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations to achieve food, beverage, labor, and profitability goals
- Partner with the Executive Chef on ordering, inventory, waste control, and forecasting
- Hire, train, coach, and hold FOH and BOH teams accountable to standards
- Analyze P&L performance, manage budgets, payroll, and labor controls
- Drive marketing initiatives, events, promotions, and community engagement
Restaurant General Manager Requirements
- 3–5 years of General Manager experience in upscale or polished-casual dining
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on P&L responsibility
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
- Experience overseeing both FOH and BOH operations
- Familiarity with the Nashville hospitality scene
