Full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist based at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento; ~12 12‑hour shifts/month (may be 24‑hr); covers OB ED, L&D, gyn consults, and surgical assist; Level II nursery with Level III NICU support; employment with Mercy Medical Group. - Board Certified in OB/GYN (ABMS or AOA)
- Active California medical license or ability to obtain
- Experience in labor & delivery/ob hospitalist role
- Comfortable with emergency gyn consults and surgical assist
- Ability to work shift-based schedule (12×12‑hr or 24‑hr shifts)

Mercy Medical Group (MMG),
a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a full time Board Certified OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Responsibilities would include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. y 1800 births/year ~24 hour back-up Ob on-call. ~ Full time would be twelve 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts. ~ Additional compensation provided for doing additional shifts. ~ Level II nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center ~ Sign on bonus and moving bonus available for full time applicants ~ Compensation Range: $330,000- $339,000 plus bonuses.
