We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist for a permanent, onsite position at a hospital located near Chicago, Illinois. This is a hospital-based role focusing on Body Imaging, where you will be part of a dedicated team of radiologists providing comprehensive diagnostic services.
Key Highlights:- Full-time, onsite position Remote work is not available for this role.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with potential for negotiable call shifts.
- You will be covering various imaging services across multiple hospital locations within the regional network.
- Procedures include CT scans, ultrasound (US), mammography, and angiography.
- Typical workload: 35 CTs, 100 x-rays, or 60 ultrasounds per day depending on rotation.
- The hospital is part of a larger academic health system in the Chicago metropolitan area.
- Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, providing care to patients of all ages.
- The team includes over 10 full-time radiologists, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- The practice is equipped with advanced technology, including Epic, PowerScribe, and Intlerad PACS systems for smooth workflow and reporting.
- Board-Certified in Radiology.
- Must have or be willing to obtain an Illinois state medical license.
- BLS certification is required.
- Ability to handle various imaging modalities, including CT, US, and mammography.
