Schedule

Full Time, 3x12 Night Shifts (7pm - 7am), every other weekend, holiday as needed, with 2 On-Call shifts required.

Job Description

The RN will provide comprehensive patient care during night shifts across multiple units including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. The position entails floating to various departments as needed and ensuring high-quality care for patients of all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care during the night shift.
• Float to various units as required including ICU, ER, and Med/Surg.
• Manage multiple priorities and ensure outstanding patient care delivery.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse (RN).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Tele, or Critical Care Units.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required (through AHA or RQI system).
• NIHSS certification required.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
