Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an LDRP RN with an active IN or compact RN license, BLS, and NRP certification to provide comprehensive care in a Level 1 LDRP unit.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Level 1 LDRP unit with 3 LDRP beds, 1 triage room, and 4 overflow postpartum rooms
- Direct nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
- Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
- Floating and call requirements are not specified
- Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, documenting patient conditions, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams
- Expected to assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team
- Facility allows local candidates, but local rate applies per radius rule
- Vaccination against COVID-19 is not currently required
- Auto-offer process is in place for this position
- Dress code and additional requirements are not specified
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AHA/AAP required
- Experience with fetal monitoring required; recent completion of AWHONN, Relias, or similar program within past 2 years if not covered by competency exam
- Nursys license verification and primary source verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start
- US Social Security Number and US home address required
