Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (some flexibility as needed)
Pay Rate: $28–34/hour DOE
Contract Length: January 2026 through December 2026
Possibility of Extension or Conversion: Yes
About the Opportunity
Manpower is partnering with a Loveland-based company to hire an Inventory Accountant to support daily and monthly accounting operations during an upcoming SAP go-live. This role will help ensure inventory, cost, and margin data are accurate and well maintained as the organization prepares for system changes.

What You’ll Be Doing
This is primarily a task-based inventory accounting role, with opportunities to take on additional ad-hoc responsibilities for candidates with stronger SAP or cost accounting experience.
Key responsibilities include:

Perform daily and monthly review of inventory, margin, and cost data to ensure accurate financial reporting

Prepare and post journal entries related to inventory and cost activity

Review and validate inventory adjustments prior to posting

Assist with monthly close activities and account reconciliations

Research margin and inventory discrepancies and partner with internal teams to resolve issues

Support SOX documentation and internal controls related to inventory

Assist with physical inventory counts, reconciliations, and variance adjustments

Contribute to SAP-related projects and process improvement initiatives

Perform additional accounting tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

1–3+ years of accounting or inventory accounting experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (equivalent experience considered)

SAP experience strongly preferred; cost accounting experience is a plus

Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and transactional accounting

Strong Excel and general MS Office skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
