Position Overview:We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) Physician for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Lawton, OK. This long-term role offers stability, a flexible work environment, and the chance to provide essential care in a well-supported outpatient clinic.
Responsibilities:Provide primary care services to a diverse adult and/or family population
Perform routine physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
Coordinate patient care and make referrals as needed
Document patient visits thoroughly in the EMR system
Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure high-quality care
Schedule & Details:Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (No weekends or call)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Duration: Minimum one-year contract with potential to extend
Setting: Outpatient only
Patient Volume: Manageable caseload, mostly scheduled visits
Qualifications:MD or DO with active medical license in Oklahoma (or ability to obtain)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
Current DEA license and BLS certification
Excellent communication and patient care skills
