The role requires expertise in advanced gastroenterological procedures including ERCP, endoscopy, colonoscopy, liver biopsy, and use of Epic EMR. This short-term assignment involves high-acuity clinical responsibilities with scheduled weekend and holiday coverage.
CLOSED 12.01.-Hour OB/GYN Call Coverage Arizona Locum Assignment We are seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterology Physician for critical locum tenens coverage during the Christmas and New Year holiday periods near Dogue, Virginia. This high-acuity role requires full scope expertise in adult gastroenterological care, including advanced procedures. Key Role Details Schedule: 24-hour on-call shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 AM) covering weekends and holidays. Setting: Clinical responsibilities span inpatient hospital call and outpatient clinic/office settings. Procedure Volume: Average of 8 procedures per weekend. Required Procedures: Full scope required, including Upper/Lower GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Liver Biopsy, and proficiency in both Diagnostic and Therapeutic ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). EMR: Documentation utilizing the Epic EMR system. Requirements Certification: Board Certification in Gastroenterology (Required). License: Active Virginia Medical License (Required). Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform ERCP (Required). Availability: Must be available for the specified holiday and New Year shifts.
