Locum Tenens Physician - General Medicine Opportunity Near Linn, MO

MANDATED Job Requirements:

• Note the preferred location of the provider (Must reside or have an office within mileage requirements listed above).
• Specify if the provider has their own office or will cover at an office.
• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
• Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Willingness to wear a mask during all visits.
• Active military duty, reserves, or actively employed at the VA.
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 0-3 years of residency.
• Active and unrestricted license.
• Specify if the provider is DMA Certified and provide certification details.
• Note providers' travel locations and provide full home address for CV.

Additional Details:

• Start Date: ASAP - ongoing
• Availability: Block-time preferred, but will consider providers with sporadic availability on an as-needed basis.
• Specialties Accepted: Family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or any background in general medicine.
• Exam Type: One-time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments.
• Exams Format: Primarily interview-based with some physical assessments (range of motion testing, muscle strength testing).
• Prescribing/Treatment: None required.
• Credentialing: Quick credentialing & onboarding.
• DMA Certification: Available (can obtain CME credits) - to be obtained post-privileging if not already certified.
• Equipment: Use of Goniometer required.
• Expertise: Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions required.
• Technology: Must own a personal laptop (NO Apple Laptops/MACs).
• Training: Provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
• Reporting: DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report.
• Location: Near Linn, MO.
